Delete account and data
You can delete your RemoteGuard account and the associated data at any time.
In the app
Menu → My profile → “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account and the associated data, releases active shares and deletes your own files (profile picture, chat images); the other party is notified.
By email
Alternatively, send a deletion request from your registered email address to support@remoteguard.app. We confirm the deletion and carry it out within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Account and profile data (email, display name)
- Your locks and their stored credentials
- Invitations, shares and action logs
- Chat messages and images
Note: individual entries may remain briefly in backups and are removed during the regular backup rotation.
